A Philadelphia venue wants to wish one and all a happy holiday season, and this includes the community’s furry and feathery neighbors.
The Wissahickon Environmental Education Center is getting ready to welcome all ages for its Holiday for the Animals event. It will be taking place outdoors, so those who plan on attending should make sure they bundle up and dress for the weather.
Families and friends are encouraged to stop by the center for celebrations, and there will be lots of activities for them to enjoy.
A hands-on nature experience will be provided, and there will also be games and a station set up where gifts can be made for the local wildlife.
Guests can wrap up the experience by warming themselves with a hot drink by the bonfire, and the event is open for the public to drop by anytime between 12:30pm and 3:30pm.
