Philly festival to celebrate companion animals

Philadelphia is a city that loves its pets, and a festival-style event in September will put this on full display.

The vendor application system for the annual Chestnut Hill Petapalooza is currently accepting requests from local small businesses to set up shop. It will provide them with an opportunity to expand their customer base, as well as potentially make a lot of sales in one day.

The celebration is expected to attract those who are interested in providing top care to their companion animal. They can meet a variety of business owners face to face, sit in on workshops and maybe even meet the newest furry feathery or scaly member of their family. Local eateries will be open, with many offering special pricing in honor of the day. Admission is free, and all ages may participate.

The planners of this pet-themed celebration have expressed their gratitude to its community partners for their support. These include George Woodward Co, Weavers Way Co-op Chestnut Hill, The Goldenberg Group, and Elfant Wissahickon Realtors. The name, Logo Design, and more information about these sponsors can be found on the event website.

This day planned as a salute to the joys of companion animals is scheduled for September 9. It will be taking place along Germantown Avenue, and the final date to submit an application to set up shop as a vendor is August 9.
