Philly event to kick off school year

Children and young people on the autism spectrum will be the guests of honor for an event that will send them back to classes well kitted out with the necessary school supplies.

A Philadelphia celebration will provide non-neurotypicals and their parents with both materials and resources they may find helpful. This Back to School Bash will be on offer at 1140 S 26th Street, and both business and not-for-profit groups are invited to take part.

Each child who registers for the event will receive a backpack filled with supplies, and these may include promotional Pens. There will be a resource and vendor area set up, and to add an extra touch of fun, music and entertainment are in the works. It will provide a one-stop shopping experience to the families, and it will run for two and half hours.

Those who book a space will receive the use of a table and two chairs so they can set up shop and meet with the attendees. Businesses will have the chance to build their customer base while not-for-profits will be able to hand out information and Promotional Products.

This kick-off to another school year for Philly’s community of autistic people will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 24th. At the time of writing, table bookings were still being accepted.
