Philly class to introduce art of calligraphy

Calligraphy can be a fun and easy way to transform everyday correspondence into something special, and an introductory lesson in the artform is set to be presented to Philadelphia learners in the early days of January.

Evil genius Beer Company has booked a workshop that will introduce calligraphy techniques to the beginner. The admission price is $65, and each ticketholder will learn how to work with ink and a pointed dip pen.

The participants will learn the basis from the facilitator, and they will have time to practice. There will be one and half hours of instruction that includes a demonstration, and everyone will receive a calligraphy kit for beginners. They will also be supplied with paper to write on and can take it home to keep.

Those who participate in the class will be invited to purchase food or drinks both ahead of its start time and during the session itself. Being part of a hands-on learning experience can be a lot of fun, and a flyer printing company can get the word out to the public about any locally hosted event.

This introduction to the art of calligraphy will be on offer on Tuesday, January 10. It is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm, and the venue for the evening will be 1727 Front Street in Philadelphia.
