A pop-up Mother’s Day hike will welcome Philly moms and daughters, and it will allow them to experience the peace of nature. The group will follow a path with few hills and a low incline, and everyone can take part, no matter what their skill or fitness level may be.
Those who register for the activity will meet at the upper parking lot for Wissahickon Park before they set out, and everyone is reminded to wear clothing comfortable for walking, which should include sturdy shoes or hiking boots. This event is being offered free of charge, and the registrants are asked to be on site by no later than 8:45 am on the day.
