Philadelphia wreath sale to support local botanical garden
A Philadelphia venue that gives urban residents an opportunity to enjoy spending some time in nature will once again be running its Winter Wreath fundraiser.
Those who order a holiday wreath from Bartram’s Garden will receive a handcrafted piece of holiday decor made from natural and sustainably harvested materials. They are $60 beach, and anyone who is interested can order as many as they need.
Each of the wreaths sold will be 28 inches in diameter, made up of evergreens and other greenery as well as magnolia leaves, winterberry holly, and pinecones. A group of volunteers has signed on to lend a hand with their construction, and each will be unique. They will be available for pickup at the Garden during its Handmade Holidays fundraiser, but they cannot be shipped.
Not-for-profit groups often come up with imaginative and out-of-the-box fundraising ideas, and these tend to grab and hold the public's attention particularly well. A printing services company will be able to help, providing everything from marketing materials to letterheads, waivers, and other business forms.
This opportunity for the public to snag some special holiday decor while supporting Bartram's Garden is now accepting orders, and the pickup day is slated for Saturday, December 4. People will be able to collect a wreath between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm that day.
