Philadelphia plant lovers who would like to add some new green friends to their personal collection may appreciate an upcoming activity.
A Plant Swap and Sip will be held at Collective Artistry, and it will combine a horticultural exchange with a chance to learn. The attendees will also be able to meet other green thumbs, and it will be a BYOB event.
The activity will open with a brief presentation about general plant care topics, where the participants can ask the experts any questions they have. After this, they will be able to swap. Everyone is encouraged to bring along extra plants, pots and any surplus gardening gear they would like to exchange. They should make sure their contributions are free from pests and diseases, and they have also been asked to label each plant as accurately as they can.
An exchange gives thrifty gardeners a chance to add to their collection and help others to do the same. A flyer printing company will be able to offer a variety of ways of building public interest in an event.
Collective Artistry, which is located at 32 Maplewood Mall in Philadelphia, will be hosting this function on June 11. It will begin at 6:00 pm, and there is lots of free parking close to the venue. No fee is being charged to participate.
