As spring gets started in Philadelphia, a local event will be giving its residents an opportunity to discover some of the latest ideas in home and garden improvement and decor.
The free Chestnut Hill Home and Garden festival will be set up along Germantown Avenue, and as it will be taking place outside, a rain date has been set. It will combine displays with a makers’ market.
People who come out will be able to stroll along the avenue, stopping at any booth or display that catches their interest. There will be artisans and crafters providing demonstrations of their creative process, and Stagecrafters Theater will provide the live entertainment. The location’s eateries will be open for business, and gardeners may find items ranging from hanging baskets to veggie starts, and even beekeeping equipment will be for sale.
