This year, Philadelphia families are encouraged to pull out all the stops with their holiday outdoor display.
Whether they use lights, inflatables or even handmade wooden decor, everyone is welcome to be as creative as they wish in their entry in the Home for the Holidays lighting competition, which will benefit the Barber National Institute. Both businesses and households are permitted to enter, and the community will choose their favorite to win the top prize.
Each entry in the contest will need to be accompanied by a clear photo of their display, taken after dark. It will also need to remain in place throughout the holiday season. The public will be able to access a listing of each participating location, and there will be three winners in both the public and business categories.
A community wide event like this is a fun way to add some extra cheer to the season. A company that prepares Corporate Gifts can offer a range of ideas for trophies or other prizes to present to each recipient.
The final date to submit an entry to the Home for the Holidays competition will be December 7, and the participants are asked to leave their display in place until January 2, 2021. The entry fee stats at $25 for households and $50 for businesses.
