Philadelphia invited to late summer fireworks

The sky above Philadelphia will be lighting up this Labor Day weekend with an extravagant fireworks display, and the public has been invited to come and take in the show.

Local residents and visitors alike will be heading to the Delaware River Waterfront to watch the spectacle, which is scheduled to begin at 9:30 pm. To help people get the most from the experience, advance tickets are being offered that include entry to the Independence Seaport Museum as well as access to the Submarine Becuna and Cruiser Olympia.

Ticket holders for the event will be treated to a special view of the fireworks from atop the museum’s rotunda. The organizers of the occasion have suggested that anyone who will be taking in the show make a day of it and include renting a boat, enjoying a meal or a visit to the venue’s beer garden in their plans for the weekend.

Tickets for the fireworks start at $17.00 for adults and $12.00 for children, students, active and retired military members and seniors. Poster printing can be used to craft a variety of promotional items for an event like this to help market it to the public.

Philadelphia has planned this colorful spectacle for September 1st. Those who purchase tickets will be able to view the fireworks at Independence Seaport Museum, which is located at 211 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard.
