Philadelphia events planned for thrifty crafters

Philadelphia crafters who would like to fund their next project may want to be part of an activity that can turn their unwanted items into someone else's treasure.

Cherry Street Pier will be the location for the Craft Coven Yard Sale, which is an opportunity for those who want to sell some of their surplus materials and projects that did not quite turn out as expected, thus keeping these imperfect but usable items out of landfill.

Spaces, measuring six by six feet, are still available at the time of writing. Sellers may choose to spread a tarp out in front of their table to create further sales space. Admission will be free for the public, and there will be refreshments available for purchase.

To help make the function accessible to even more sellers, a consignment-style option is available. Those who choose this can price their items and drop them off for the sale. They will receive 40% of the proceeds. A flyer printing company can be a helpful partner in making sure the public is informed about upcoming pop-up events like this.

The Craft Coven has scheduled its Yard Sale event for Sunday, July 14. It will be open to the public from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm, and the venue can be found at 121 North Christopher Columbus Boulevard.
