Community gardens give urban residents a chance to get growing even in the heart of the city, and one here in Philadelphia has planned a special celebration.
Everyone is invited to be a VIP at the Food Truck Fundraiser rolling into The Spring Gardens, which is located at 620 North 18th Street. It will run for three hours and those who stop by will be supporting both the gardens and the local mobile food service community.
This foodie friendly event is open to all, and while admission is free, donations will be welcomed. Guests can choose their food as well as a glass of beer, wine, or another beverage, and Mister Softee will also stop by with ice cream. Everyone has been asked to leave Fido at home, and outside alcohol will not be permitted on site.
Food trucks may offer those in the culinary industry a viable alternative to a traditional brick-and-mortar eatery, and those who want to ensure theirs looks its best for an upcoming activity can count on a printing services company to craft and install a vehicle wrap that includes a custom graphic design.
The Spring Gardens will be the beneficiary of these pop up dining events, and they are scheduled for July 19, August 16, and September 13. The venue’s website provides information for anyone who needs it.
