Philadelphia event to share secrets for perfect homemade pasta

Homemade pasta paired with a wine can make a delicious meal, and during a Philadelphia workshop led by Executive Chef Michael Loughlin, participants will find out that half the fun can be making it themselves right from scratch.

Chef Loughlin will welcome the newbie pasta makers into the kitchen at Scarpetta Philadelphia, and there, he will teach how to make the noodles and share tips for ensuring they will turn out well every time. He will demonstrate various techniques, and the guests will be able to watch him work and ask any questions they have.

The dish that is on the menu for the occasion will be Scarpetta's signature spaghetti, and while they watch the chef at work, the attendees will be able to sip wine and share canapes. They will also receive a tour of the establishment’s state-of-the-art culinary prep area and see what it takes to keep it running smoothly.

Tickets for this three-hour session are currently on offer for $75 each, which includes the food and wine. A brochure printing company will be able to supply Booklets with further pasta making tips, and these can be distributed to each student in an event like this.

The date for the Wine Tasting & Pasta Making session will be November 17. It is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am, and it will conclude at 2:00 pm.
