Free Philadelphia event to bring community together

A day that has been planned for Philadelphia will see residents of the Roxborough neighborhood access a variety of services that they may not otherwise have been able to do so due to financial difficulty or other reasons.

The Philadelphia Project has put together an afternoon that will provide free healthcare, financial and employment advice ,and a wide assortment of other assistance to those who come out. Along with this, there will be fun for the kids and other activities to bring the community together, and even Fido, Polly and Fluffy will find something just for them.

A variety of professionals will be on site, and these range from chiropractors and masseuses to hair stylists, veterinarians, employment and resume experts, acupuncturists, yoga instructors and fitness pros. There will also be cooking demonstrations and tips given for healthy living.

The younger guests at the event will be able to spend some time in the bouncy house, and there will be games to play and many other activities as well. The planners pointed out that as the date for the celebration draws closer, more services and fun will be added to the list. Banner printing for this type of occasion can be provided by a local printer

This chance to bring the community together has been planned for May 19 at 8230 Ridge Avenue. All who feel it will be helpful to them are welcome.
