Festival showcases vehicles of all kinds

The 10th annual East Passyunk Car Show and Street Festival is taking place in Philadelphia at the end of next month. It is hosted by the Northeast Muscle Car Club and

the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District.

The car show is set to feature over 140 antique, classic and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles. The public is welcome to register their vehicles for $20 each. Trophies will be handed out to the Top 50 and Top 5 Motorcycles; there will also be various awards in 12 “best of” categories.

There will be DJs, live music from bands such as the Rolling Stones tribute band Brown Sugar, street food and drink and stilt walkers. The Bang, Boom Craft Show will be selling all variety of handmade arts and crafts like jewelry, clothing and paintings and will be set up at the fountain. A Kids Zone will also be set up at 13th and Mifflin, and will have a moon bounce, face painting, games, car-themed arts and crafts and sand art.

The festival will likely attract many Philadelphia families. To advertise, organizers may have distributed Flyers in the area.
