Event will raise funds to help the homeless

The Feels Like Home Benefit Gala is taking place this month in Philadelphia. It is a fundraising event for DePaul USA, an organization that provides services to the homeless in six United States cities, including Philadelphia and Macon, Georgia.

Guests will be served heavy hors d'oeuvres and dessert, and can enjoy an open bar, while a raffle is set to award cash or basket prizes. The three levels of the National Liberty Museum will be open for guests to tour during the event. The museum is dedicated to the dignity, freedom, and liberty of humans throughout the world. Most of the displays on exhibit are made up of glass art to show the fragility of life.

DePaul USA offers services to the homeless such as a temporary shelter, provides employment through Immaculate Cleaning Services, and supports permanent housing. It aims to provide the homeless with the chance to become independent contributors to society.

Philadelphia Print companies are often asked to provide products such as Invitations and Posters to encourage more people to attend fundraisers like this. They may be mailed to past sponsors or displayed in local public buildings.

The Feels Like Home Benefit Gala will be held at the National Liberty Museum on November 14 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets are $100 each. To find out more about this fundraiser, or about DePaul USA, contact Peggy Robertson at 215-438-1955 x20.
