Philadelphia’s early childhood educators who would like to meet and network with others who share their profession may wish to save the date for an area event that will be taking place this summer.
The Mayor’s Office of Education will be hosting a mixer for local early childhood teachers, as well as administrators and other staff who work in the field. Snacks will be served, and a cash bar service will be available for anyone who would like a drink.
The guests at the function will have lots of time to meet and share best practices with one another, and there will also be a discussion of the future of the pre-kindergarten programs in the city. The attendees can enter their name in the free raffle, and the goal is to foster strong connections among teachers and other education professionals in the local area.
Since the event has been planned as a mixer, the organizers have reminded anyone who plans on taking part to bring along Business Cards to exchange with the other guests. A local printer will be able to work with its customers to provide them with unique designs for these items.
This meet and greet has been arranged for August 18 in Philadelphia’s Field House, which is located at 1150 Filbert Street. Free to attend, the doors will open at 4:00 pm.
