Conference offers advice to businesswomen and entrepreneurs

The 13th annual Pennsylvania Conference for Women is taking place in Philadelphia next month.

The event promises to provide women with help in their business careers while they listen to many successful business leaders. The keynote speakers for this year include Anita Hill, Mindy Kaling, and Adam Grant.

There are set to be panel discussions and three breakout sessions where women can choose between several seminars. Some of the topics that will be covered are work and life balance, branding, avoiding unconscious bias, and how to be a better leader. Some of the leaders presenting these seminars are Trudy Bourgeois, Paula Davis-Loack, and Malika Chopra. There will be two roundtable discussions – one on small business and one on social media.

Attendees will be invited to a keynote luncheon and author book signings. In addition, there will be over 150 exhibitors on hand to showcase their goods and services or to provide information on their services. Those confirmed for this year include the AARP, Mary Kay, and Acme Markets.

This will be a good networking opportunity for businesswomen in the Philadelphia area. It’s likely that most of those attending will be bringing along their custom Business Cards to pass along to others.
