Caregivers to be guests of honor at Philly event

Since caregivers sometimes forget that they need a little bit of TLC themselves, an evening has been planned just for them.

Philadelphia home health aides, caregivers and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) are all welcome to hit the dance floor for a prom-themed appreciation event. They can wear their favorite gown or other attire, and it will be an evening with lots of glamour and pampering as well.

Guests will be able to enjoy both music and dancing, and food and drinks will be served. A variety of giveaways are in the works, and to make sure each guest looks their best, they are invited to choose a gown or other attire from a pop-up prom shop of gently used dresses.

To make the celebration even more special, there is no charge for the caregivers to attend. Tickets for their guests are $60 each, and this includes the buffet as well and music, dancing and access to an open bar. This chance for Philly to show some love to those who help others every day will be held on November 8. It is set to be held at the Hilton Hotel at 4200 City Avenue.
