The 3rd annual Allegheny Avenue Arts Fest is taking place next month in Philadelphia. It is presented by Global Citizen, the Georgia E. Gregory Interdenominational School of Music, and the Zion Baptist Church.
The festival will have plenty of activities for people of all ages. The entertainment held during the festival will consist of music, dance, spoken word, and rap performances by both youth and adult as well as art exhibits. Free hot dogs, snacks, and beverages will be available as long as they last. In addition, several health organizations will be providing free health screenings and showcasing available programs and services to the public.
There are set to be plenty of children’s activities throughout the day. The first 150 youth who pass through the gates will receive book Bags filled with school supplies.
Several local vendors will also be on hand to sell items, which might include handmade jewelry, Books, food, and arts and crafts.
Organizers are still looking for volunteers, who will each receive a T-shirt and refreshments.
It is likely that advertising items such as Flyers will be distributed in Philadelphia to advertise this popular annual event.
The Allegheny Avenue Arts Fest will be held on the 1600 block of West Allegheny Avenue on August 5 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free of charge. Call Tiffany Smith at 251-851-1806 to learn more.
