The 31st annual Philadelphia International Children's Festival will be taking place this May for three days. Theatrical, musical, and dance companies from all over the world participate each year.
The festival features a variety of performances that will appeal to the entire family, but mainly aimed at children. Among those performing at this year's event are the Pilobolus Dance Theater, Orchestra of Life, and Circo Comedia.
In addition to theater, there is also an outdoor Fun Zone. This is set to feature face painting, crafts, hands-on activities, jugglers, and performances by the Cashore Marionettes, Corbian Visual Arts and Dance, and the Patch Theatre Company. Admission is free for those who have a ticket.
Those who wish to ensure that more children get the opportunity to attend can "adopt a school" for $1,000, which pays for one class.
This is a popular event in Philadelphia and usually attracts over 10,000 people each year. To advertise, local Print companies may be asked to provide Posters and Flyers, and may also provide the necessary tickets for the performances.
The Philadelphia International Children's Festival will be held at the Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' Zellerbach Theatre from May 7 to 9. Tickets for each performance are $10 each.
