Santa’s furry and feathery friends are invited to drop by and pay him a visit when he presides over an event planned for the North Versailles area.
The team at White Oak Volunteer Fire Department #1 will be helping the public do a good turn for the charges helped by White Oaks Animal Safe Haven, which is a local no-kill shelter. The fee being charged is $10, and the activity will run all day on its scheduled date.
Pet parents can bring their animal friends with them, and Santa will interact with each guest while their picture gets taken. Rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, lizards, and other companion animals are as welcome as cats and dogs, and toys and treats will be distributed. Suitable carriers and leashes are required, and pets must be under their owners’ control at all times. It has been requested that retractable leashes are not used.
Many not-for-profit groups plan fundraising campaigns for the holiday season, which may require specially designed decor. A banner printing company that can perform graphic design work will have the wide format Print technology required to produce oversized pieces.
This photo session for Santa and his animal friends will take place next Saturday, November 29. It will run from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm, and advance registration is not required to take part.
