An upcoming event is set to help those who would like to get started to get their feet wet with the pastime of fishing.
North Versailles Township has invited local individuals and families to take part in its Learn to Fish Day. The session will take place at 785 Seventh Street in Trafford and is free to attend for Township residents.
The gathering will be held rain or shine, and everyone can learn some of the basics of fishing from the volunteers on hand. Everyone can bring their own rod if they wish, although there will be ones available to borrow thanks to NVT Get Outdoors. These must be reserved when registering. Bait will be supplied as well.
All ages are encouraged to attend, and anyone aged 15 or under does not require a license. Everyone must follow the applicable regulations.
To add more fun to the experience, attendees will be served refreshments and prizes will be presented. A brochure printing company can prepare pamphlets to distribute during such an event that provide more details about the activity at hand, such as state regulations as well as helpful tips and advice.
North Versailles Township will be enjoying this morning of fishing fun on Sunday, June 21 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The final date to sign up is June 18.
