The Three Rivers Arts Festival is taking place for a week this June in Pittsburgh. It is a presentation of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
Festival events are happening in three places in the city: Pointe State Park, Gateway Center and the Cultural District. A wide variety of art displays, workshops, comedy performances, dance and concerts are planned. Some of those who will be performing include Jeff Tweedy, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and The Smithereens. There will also be a miniature marina, a juried art exhibition and several interactive art displays. There should definitely be something happening during the week that will appeal to almost everyone's tastes.
There are also going to be two separate artists markets set up, one in Pointe State Park and one at the Gateway Center. Over 1,000 artists are expected to be selling their art works during the festival.
This festival attracts visitors from all over the area, including nearby North Versailles. Local Print companies are often asked if they can help design promotional items such as Brochures and Posters to advertise these kinds of events.
The Three Rivers Arts Festival will be held from June 6 to 15 from 12:00 - 8:00 PM each day. Admission is free.
