North Versailles youth offered work experience with wildlife

North Versailles teens who are interested in working with animals may enjoy the chance to be part of an area program that will give them hands-on experience in working with wildlife.

The National Aviary offers an assortment of programs, and one of these is aimed at youth from the ages of 14 to 18. This will provide them with an opportunity to shadow the facility's subject experts.

The young people that take part will be given a behind the scenes look into wildlife conservation, and see how the aviary operates on a daily basis. At least 500 animals call this venue home, and the participants will learn about what it takes to provide them with the care they need.

The session will take place across four Saturdays starting in late January, and the schedule has its final date in mid-February.

This program may be of interest to youth considering a career in the life sciences. Branded merchandise, certificates of completion, registration Forms and waivers, and company Letterheads can all be prepared for an event by local printing services companies.

The National Aviary, which is located at 700 Arch Street in Pittsburgh, will offer this opportunity starting on January 27th. The schedule concludes on February 17th, and each session will run from 1:00pm until 3:00pm.

The registration fee from the program is $299.00 per person.
