September is harvest time in Pennsylvania, and in the North Versailles area, that means it is almost time for a special celebration hosted at the Knauss Homestead.
The venue has plans for its annual Harvest Festival , and the attendees at the outdoor soiree will be treated to an experience that will take them back in time to the state’s early days. House tours are just the start of what will be on offer, and the fun will be suitable for all ages.
The guests will be able to pay a visit to one of the area food trucks on site for the day, and they will have an assortment of food and beverages available. Local craft breweries will have beer on offer, and the vendor area will showcase the area’s creative talents. This will be joined by a pumpkin painting contest that will see the artist with the top gourd go home with a special prize.
At the time of writing, vendor spaces are still be available for booking, and the price tag for this is $50. Companies that plan on taking part in a pop-up market will be able to order any Business Cards or other Promotional Products they need from a local printer.
This celebration of the North Versailles harvest season is set to welcome the public on Saturday, September 16. The fun will be getting started at 12:00 noon.
