A North Versailles area historic site is set to play host to an event that will help to satisfy everyone’s inner taco lover.
The Carrie Furnace will be welcoming the return of Pittsburgh’s Taco takeover, which will feature fare from at least 20 of the city’s top food trucks. Each will have its own take on the typical taco, and these will range from the traditional favorites, to recipes that will be completely outside the box.
The celebration, which has been planned with the whole family in mind, will take place outdoors, as this will ensure there is enough space for food vendors and attendees alike to observe social distancing rules. Everyone is welcome to bring along seating such as a folding chair or blanket, and the adults in the crowd can purchase some ice cold beer to help beat the summer heat. Live music is in the works, and a shuttle service will be available from the parking area at the Hampton Inn on The Waterfront.
As an event like this offers a food truck operator an opportunity to introduce what it has to offer, it may be a smart move to make sure it is in top shape for the occasion. Vehicle wraps, which can be both designed and installed by a printing services company, will help to ensure it will attract plenty of attention.
The Pittsburgh Taco Takeover will be filled with summer fun on August 1. More information about the activity, as well as the venue and parking options, is on offer on its Facebook listing.
