While April showers may bring May flowers, in North Versailles, they also mean that it is time to celebrate National Library Week with a series of special activities.
The North Versailles Public Library has arranged a schedule for the week that will be filled with offerings the whole community can enjoy. There will be raffles draws and a “Name the book in the Jar” contest.
On the Monday, the library will be offering a fines amnesty, and anyone who brings in at least five non-perishable donations for area food banks will receive a discount off their overdue fines. A Mystery Book Day, Lego Day, All Day Refreshments, and other ways for the public to learn more about the library and what it has to offer will also be taking place.
Throughout the week, community members will be invited to purchase raffle tickets, and there will be two prize baskets drawn for. A printer can offer a variety of branded Corporate Gifts that can be offered as prizes during an event like this, and these can be used on their own or as part of a larger prize package.
