The North Versailles area loves its furry, feathery and scaly friends, and an event that will raise both awareness and funds for animals in need has been organized by a local rescue and rehoming group.
The Fido Food Truck Festival will be taking place this September at the White Oak Volunteer Fire Department Station 299, and it will be filled with lots of food and fall-themed fun. There will be some adoptable cats and dogs on hand for the crowd to meet, and all ages are welcome.
The festivities will be filled with mobile eateries serving up a wide assortment of dishes, and foodies may appreciate the opportunity to enjoy as many as they wish, all at one venue. Beverages will also be available, and there will be small businesses selling handmade arts and crafts.
To help maximize the funds raised, attendees will have the chance to purchase tickets to win one of the more than 100 raffle baskets, and an even-split draw is also scheduled. Organizers may utilize Letterheads to request the donation of Corporate Gifts in kind for such an activity.
This year's Fido Food Truck Festival will be showing some love to the animals in need at White Oak Animal Safe Haven on Saturday, September 13. The food will start being served at 2:00 pm.
