Science, technology, engineering and math are often referred to as being ‘STEM’ subjects, and these will form the basis for an evening of exploration that will be on offer this May in North Versailles’ Logan Elementary school.
The event, which is intended for the whole family, will offer hands-on activities. The attendees can stop at each of the stations set up, where they can learn and try their hand at something new.
The school’s robotics team will be on hand for the occasion, and guests at the function will be welcome to give the robots a try. There will also be virtual tours using Google Expeditions goggles and an inflatable planetarium will put the stars at their fingertips. Along with all of this, ALCOSAN will be sharing details about how it protects local waterways, and there will be many other activities and displays for guests to explore as well.
Introducing STEM subjects in a way that is fun and exciting can spark a lifelong love of learning among those who attend this type of function. A banner printing company can supply the signage and other printed items needed to ensure it will be a success.
