The feathery set is about to have some time in the spotlight thanks to a North Versailles area expo that will welcome area bird nerds.
Garden City Hall in Pittsburgh will be the venue for the spring OHPA Bird Fair, which is one of several activities the organizer has in store for 2023. Many types of songbirds and members of the parrot family will be represented, and it will be an opportunity to learn, browse, and maybe even find a new feathery friend.
The show will connect avian enthusiasts with breeders, and there will be lots of baby birds on site. There will also be parrots, finches, budgies and others in need of a new and loving home, and there will be product vendors coming in from at least five states to exhibit their products and services. Attendees will be able to meet others who enjoy having birds as companion animals, and all are welcome.
