Whether in a small container or an entire back yard, a garden can add beauty and interest to the landscape. Residents of North Versailles who would like to find out how easy it can be to get growing can take part in an upcoming morning class.
This workshop will equip members of the public with knowledge and skills they can use to create their own little patch of paradise. It will include several different presentations, and nutrition breaks have been included in the agenda as well.
The morning will begin with a chance for the participants to meet one another over some light refreshments, and the first class will start at 9:00 am. Inviting birds into the landscape and managing storm water will be on the slate for discussion, and after a short break, the learning will resume. The second portion of the morning will be dedicated to a review of invasive plants and how to appreciate the beauty of native wildflowers
By showing how simple it can be to plant and grow a garden, an event like this can help to bring beauty to suburban sprawl. If the attendees are given growing guides, they will be able to continue learning even after this sort of workshop is over. These can be sourced from local Print shops.
