A fundraiser has been organized to help a charitable organization meet its goals, and tickets for the event are now on sale to the public.
The work of 412 Food Rescue helps divert usable food from landfills and make sure it ends up on the tables of people who need a healthy meal.
This evening, which will be the signature fundraiser for the not-for-profit, will include the talents of four chefs from the North Versailles area. Sally Wiggin will act as the emcee for the occasion, and the evening will provide tasty proof that surplus food can be used to create dishes that are both delicious and healthful.
General admission tickets for the Sunday supper gala are $125, and this includes the food as well as the specially selected wine pairings served with each course. VIP tickets are also on offer, and those who choose this option will be invited to arrive an hour ahead of the crowd so they can be part of a sommelier experience before the main event.
Attending the evening can allow guests to meet others who share their interest in making sure everyone in the community has enough to eat. A printing services provider can prepare oversized photos of how the monies raised during an event like this will be used, and these can serve as decor for the function.
Taking place on October 6, the event is being hosted by T|HIS IS RED in Pittsburgh.
