North Versailles model train fans will soon be treated to an event that will help them add to their own personal collection while meeting others who share their interest.
Greenberg’s Great Train and Toy Show is expected to attract both those who are new to model trains and those who have enjoyed the hobby for a long time. A wide selection of track gauges will be included, and there will even be a free test track on offer for anyone who would like to make use of it.
The organizers say the function will boast hundreds of tables of trains, tracks, accessories and layout decor, and to help provide inspiration, there will be working train setups for the enjoyment of the attendees. Demonstrations and workshops are on the agenda as well, and door prizes draws will be taking place. Admission at the door starts at $10.00, and anyone age 11 and under can enter free of charge.
An activity like this gives newbies and experienced hobbyists alike a chance to come together. Printed maps of the venue that show where each vendor is located, along with the timings for workshops and demonstrations, can be prepared for the occasion by area Stationery printers.
