Soiree to support Butler animal shelter

Butler foodies who also care about their furry friends are about to be treated to a sumptuous evening of food and friendship.

The charity of choice for the Wine and Whiskers benefit night will be the Butler County Humane Society, and the monies raised through ticket sales and sponsorships will help it to care for animals in need. Tickets are on offer now for $90, and its presenting sponsor is Cranberry Psychological Center.

Taking place at Narcisi Winery in nearby Gibsonia, guests will be able to enjoy dinner along with dessert as well as a selection of wines in a tasting session, and every attendee will receive two free drink tickets. Animals in search of a forever home will be on hand for a meet and greet, and everyone can try their luck in the basket raffle.

To help raise as much as possible during the event, the plans for the evening include a silent auction with an assortment of items and experiences on the block. Sponsors of charitable events often donate Corporate Gifts to use as auctions or draw prizes.

This opportunity to enjoy an evening of food, wine and friendship in support of a local no-kill animal shelter will be held on July 25. The doors will open at 5:30 pm, and it will draw to a close at 9:30 pm.
