Butler set to host tasty fundraiser

A Butler fundraiser will help to bring stray and abandoned companion animals in from the cold this winter.

Butler’s Moose Lodge has provided space for this function, which will raise money for Stray Solutions Animal Rescue. It is set to offer tasty meals to the public, and both takeout and in-person dining options have been planned. Anyone who chooses to pick up their food and take it home will be asked to pay an extra $1 per dinner to help cover the cost of Packaging materials.

The menu for the function includes freshly prepared spaghetti and meatballs, and this will be served along with a green salad and warm bread. Drinks are also included, and tickets to enjoy the feast start at $10 for adults and $6 for kids from age 4 to 10. A raffle, even split draw, and bake sale are also on the agenda, and these will help to raise even more money to help the animals.

For most small not-for-profit groups, an important part of planning an event like this is minimizing expenses so that as much money as possible will go to the cause. A poster printing company is the place to call, as it will have lots of marketing ideas that do not come with a high price tag.

This chance to show some kindness to animals in need while letting someone else do the cooking and clean-up will be held on March 20. It will be serving up spaghetti from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
