Butler plans fall community trunk sale

Many households engage in a fall cleanup, and an upcoming Butler event may put some cash in people's pockets while turning their trash into someone else's treasure.

Alameda Park will be transformed into a large outdoor trunk sale, and anyone who is interested in taking part is being asked to sign up in advance. Individuals can book one or more spaces, and a discount is available for those who book two or more.

This rain or shine activity will offer those who reserve a spot the chance to sell from their trunk, but if they prefer, they may choose to set up their items in their designated parking space. The shoppers will be able to enter at no charge, and there will be a program manager on hand to help make sure the event runs smoothly. The cost to reserve a place is $8.00 for one and $12.00 for two.

A community flea market or other pop-up market may be fun for buyers and sellers alike, and a flyer printing company will be pleased to help spread the word. It can create materials that may be mailed out, tucked into Shopping Bags and posted in prominent locations.

The Alameda Park Community Trunk Sale will kick off fall for Butler County on September 21st. It will be open for browsing and buying from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
