Oktoberfest parties often act as a celebration of the fall, and the South Butler Community Library has planned a fundraiser that will draw inspiration from these popular events.
Butler residents can now purchase tickets for the library’s Booktoberfest fundraiser. It will feature many of the activities that have come to be associated with Oktoberfest, and the proceeds will be used to help meet the cost of offering the various programs the institution offers to the community.
Guests at Booktoberfest will be invited to sample an assortment of cocktails, and they can also fill their plates at the buffet. A German band will keep the crowd entertained, and there will also be the excitement of basket raffles and other prize draws.
