Butler gardeners offered sneak peek into local properties

A tour will soon give area home horticulturalists a sneak peek into some of Butler’s top properties.

This year will be the 13th for the Cranberry Township, and it is a production of the Southern Butler County Garden Club. It will provide both inspiration and practical tips, and tickets are available now for the activity.

The tour will include several stops, and at each, the homeowner will be available to answer questions from the public. A door prize draw is on the agenda, and anyone who is interested will be able to purchase raffle tickets as well. Glass bird baths and decorative stepping stones will be on offer for the participants to buy to add to their own garden, and the funds raised through the admission price will be used by the host organization to fund a variety of horticultural projects.

The organizers explained that everyone who takes apart will receive a booklet that provides driving directors to each stop as well as details about the properties. These sorts of items can be crafted by a brochure printing company.

The 13th annual Garden Tour will be paying a visit to Butler area landscapes on July 24. Tickets can be purchased now or on the date of the activity, and more information about the fundraiser is available on its Facebook listing.
