Butler families offered seats in Lifesteps workshop

A workshop taking place in Butler can help parents and caregivers learn how to effectively co-parent alongside their former spouse or partner.

Lifesteps offers a variety of services to families in Butler and the surrounding communities, and will be running its ‘Families Forever’ program in January, which will be led by trained and qualified professionals. The organisation describes this event as a safe environment, where parents can discuss a variety of topics. The workshop will take place over four hours.

Attendees will address an assortment of issues related to child custody arrangements, and grandparents and other concerned family members are welcome to join. It will explore how these can be made as stress-free as possible for children and dependents involved, and the registration fee is $60.00 each. A fee reduction may be available for those in financial need, and childcare will not be available for the participants.

Raising kids can be a difficult job, and parents may appreciate the chance to learn and connect with others in a similar boat. A flyer printing company can both help spread the word about a workshop such as this, and provide Copies of handouts and other materials.

The team at Lifesteps have scheduled this activity to take place on January 20th. It will begin at 8:30am, and will be held at 300 Stirling Village in Meridian.
