The past year has not been an easy one for many who call Butler home, but a special event is set to put smiles on the faces of local ladies.
The staff at David’s Hallmark are hard at work preparing for its semi-annual Ladies Day, which will be filled with plenty of retail therapy and other fun. Those who are interested are asked to register ahead of time, and anyone who does so will have their name added to the list for a variety of prize draws.
Admission to the shopping party is free, and everyone who attends the function will go home with a specially prepared corporate gift. There will also be items presented to anyone who buys $25 or $50 worth of merchandise, and product demonstrations, exclusive sales and other perks are all on the agenda.
The organizers of the day have decided to do a good turn for those in need, and anyone who brings a donation of a non-perishable food item will be offered a special discount of 20% off any one item of their choice. The contributions will be distributed by local food pantries.
This semi-annual shopping celebration that will welcome area women is scheduled for September 16. David’s Hallmark is located at 279 Butler Commons, and the function will run from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm.
