The YMCA provides communities with an opportunity to learn, meet new friends, and engage in sports and other activities. An upcoming fundraiser will help to support its work.
A Butler bowling alley will be the venue for a family-friendly activity in support of the YMCA. All ages are encouraged to participate, and the teams are welcome to make the day even more fun by wearing a costume in honor of the occasion.
Those interested can choose to register as a team or individual, and both options include games, all you can eat food and drinks, access to the silent auction, and a chance to purchase tickets for an even-split draw. Those who sign up on their own will be grouped together, making this a chance to meet and make some new friends. It was noted that this activity kicks off the fundraising year for the organization.
Many not-for-profit organizations depend on the kindness of an area's corporate community. Print shops will be able to create special awards and other ways of thanking companies that offer sponsorships or donate gifts in kind for an activity.
Registrations for this afternoon of bowling are welcome now, and the activity will take place on March 6, from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm. The Family Bowlaway Fun Center 540 Fairground Hill Road in Butler will be the venue for the fundraiser.
