An auction offers a way for thrifty home horticulturalists to score some new equipment at a bargain price, and one of these activities is on the agenda for Butler.
The community will once again host a Spring Lawn and Garden Consignment Auction, a function that has proved to draw a large crowd in previous years. Cash, approved Checks, and debit and credit cards will all be accepted Forms of payment, but there will be a 5% convenience fee applied to purchases made using a card.
The function will be run by Croll’s Mills Auctions and takes place at 625 Evans City Road. It will be a live activity, and many of the items will be commercial or professional grade quality. Equipment manufactured by major brands will be on the block, and this will include tools; vehicles such as cars, trucks, and trailers; and mowers and tractors.
Anyone who has items they would like to add to the event is encouraged to do so. Hard copy auction Catalogs along with receipt blanks, Letterheads, and other business Forms may all be ordered from a local printer.
The annual Spring Lawn and Garden Consignment Auction will be helping local gardeners and other community members add some new equipment to their supply lists on April 30. It will start at 9:00 am, and its website can be consulted for more details or to find out about adding an item.
