Butler area event to show love to leading ladies

A Butler activity will salute the men and women who act as the strength behind the uniform next month.

The Connoquenessing Fire Company will be showing some love to both moms and military spouses when it hosts its Tea Party Fundraiser. It will be raising monies for the fire company, and will help to meet the cost of upgrading its infrastructure.

The public is invited to purchase tickets for the gathering, priced at $30 each. While it is geared towards moms, all women will be honored, and tea, along with a selection of sandwiches and other sweet and savory bites, will be served. Tea attire is suggested, and door prize draws and basket raffles for donated Corporate Gifts and the prizes have been planned. The celebration will run for two hours, and anyone with questions or who would like to secure their spot can call 724-822-3318.

A special event may benefit from custom-designed décor. This will be available at a banner printing company, and these businesses can prepare these items using specialized Print technology.

This celebration of some of Butler’s leading ladies will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 11. It is scheduled for 180 Connoquenessing Main Street, and will run until 3:00 pm. Only a limited number of tickets are still available at the time of writing.
