Butler activity to welcome special needs families

A Butler activity will offer families with special needs children a chance to come together to simply have a good time.

Regan’s Journey is a not-for-profit group that fosters connections between special needs families in the area, and it has made plans to welcome them for an afternoon of bowling, snacks, and camaraderie. The venue is accessible to those who need mobility devices such as a wheelchair or walker, and everyone who would like to participate has been asked to RSVP ahead of time.

The families who take part will be able to enjoy bowling in a child friendly environment, and everyone will be able to enjoy two slices of pizza as well as unlimited soft drinks. Anyone who would like to play a round of laser tag can do so, and everyone will go home with a photo as a memento of the day. The registration fee also includes shoe rental for the guests.

When preparing for a function like this, it may be a good idea for the planners to prepare Bags of swag to distribute. These can contain items from brochure printing companies that offer more information about supports and services in a particular area, as well as promotional Pens and other small gifts.

The Reagan’s Journey Bowling Party will hit the lanes at Butler’s Family Bowlaway Fun Center on December 12. Its registration system may now be accessed online.
