Santa on the way to Lancaster

Despite his busy schedule, Santa is making time for a stop in Lancaster, bringing his elves to Alley Park and inviting everyone to come and see him.

The park will be dressed in its holiday finery, including outlining the Goslin Nature Center building in lights, and placing lights near and on the lake. One exhibit shows Santa's sleigh flying over the lake, drawn by his reindeer.

The Charles Alley Nature Park covers over 300 acres, and has six miles of trails for hiking, the Goslin Nature Center, and two lakes. The park features a covered bridge, which is located near the nature center. The trail to Lake Loretta passes an informational kiosk, restrooms, and a picnic shelter, as well as a rustic cabin. “Catch and release” fishing is allowed in the lake.

Visitors who come to meet Santa can also enjoy roasting hot dogs over a bonfire, taking part in craft activities, and visiting the animals housed on the lower level of the Goslin Nature Center.

Santa in the Park is set for December 12, 13, and 14, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on each evening. The park is on Old Logan Road SE in Lancaster, and the family-friendly event is free. Banner printing offers a way to create seasonal decorations for the venues holding events like this.
