Women in Lancaster who are eager to hit the links this summer will have an opportunity to compete with their peers while raising money for charity.
The 2026 Charity Newsies Women’s Golf Outing, which is being organized by the Lancaster-Fairfield County Charity Newsies, has an official date on the calendar for this June, providing local women the chance to sign up and show their skills. The tournament, which will feature 3-player teams, will work to raise money in support of local children and families in need of emergency shelter, school clothing, food Boxes, and more.
In addition to golfers, organizers are seeking local sponsors, with tee and hole sponsorship opportunities available to help build brand awareness and a positive image. Banner printing is an excellent way for local companies to create eye-catching marketing materials for golf tournaments like this.
The tournament stands out as one of only a few all-female golf outings in Ohio. Each registered player will receive a goodie bag, three drink tickets, free meals, and the chance to win door prizes and course contests. Spots are limited, and interested golfers are encouraged to make reservations in advance.
The outing will tee off at Pumpkin Vine Golf Course in Lancaster on Sunday, June 14th. Participants can arrive to check in at 8:00 AM. Registration is open online and costs $240 per team.
