Anyone interested in creating an original work of art has an event coming up just for them.
The Picture Perfect Ranch in Lancaster is the venue for the “Paint with ‘Pacas” occasion, which asks attendees if they have ever wanted to paint with an alpaca?
While this sounds like the alpacas will be seated with the artists working on their own paintings, it means the alpacas will be the models for the day. All the necessary supplies to create a picture, along with the assistance of a talented local artist who will serve as the instructor, are included in the admission price. The paintings that people create are theirs to take home at the end of the session.
An alpaca will be on hand, though, for class members to pet at the end of the day. He will also be available for people to take selfies with him. A cart with popcorn and snowcones will be provided so artists can refresh themselves. Flyer printing can be used to create instructional handouts for events like this.
The Picture Perfect Ranch is a seven-acre facility that is not a working ranch or farm, but a venue that provides an interesting background for photographers, including some 27 animals. The ranch hosts not only paint parties, but also summer camps, field trips, outdoor yoga, and more. “Paint with ‘Pacas” is scheduled for April 24 at 12.00 pm.
