Lancaster residents with an interest in art classes may enjoy this unique event in early November.
Flower Powered Flower Making is an activity which uses EVA foam to create the base model of a flower, before the students use other materials to add color and truly bring their work to life. The flowers will be much larger than their real counterparts. Each person has the opportunity to decide which flower they would like to make. The options include a rose and a variety of flowers to fit with the season.
EVA foam is a material which is used in a multitude of applications. It also has several benefits including ease of cleaning, absorption of sound, durability, comfort/softness, and water resistance.
Registration requires a form to be filled out with billing and contact information. By going to the site for the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, those wishing to sign up will be able to find a link to the form. This lesson is best suited for individuals from age 12 and upward.
The above mentioned business is also the venue for the event. People with memberships are able to attend this class for a lower rate of $27, compared to the standard $30. Information about memberships is also available on the webpage. Events which are led by organizations based within the local community often have promotions involving the use of flyer printing. The crafting activity is running on November 4th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
