Lancaster Farmers Market in full swing

The Lancaster Farmers Market is up and running for the season, and everyone is welcome to visit to search for great finds, or just to have fun.

There are 25 vendors taking part in the market, though different vendors come at different times during the season. The artisans and farmers who are taking part bring a great variety of goods to the market, including eggs, flowers, meat, baked goods, fresh vegetables and fruits, and more. There are also craftspeople with handmade items for sale.

The market is open no matter what the weather, and people are welcome to bring their four-legged friends, as long as the dogs are kept leashed.

Visitors to the market are encouraged to bring some cash with them, although some vendors accept payment via debit or credit cards, as well as SNAP/EBT. Coupons from the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program and the Ohio Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program are also accepted. A list of participating vendors is displayed on various Signs, and the market also provides a list of its vendors. Poster printing is often used at events like this.

Lancaster Fresh Market, Inc., a non-profit organization, runs the outdoor Lancaster Farmers Market. The same organization also runs the Keller Market House, an indoor marketplace located in downtown Lancaster that is open year-round.

The Lancaster Farmers Market is open on Saturday mornings from now until October.
